<strong>Briefly, about ICTK</strong>
Internet Center for Short-term Therapy (ICTK) is an online therapy and psychology clinic, operating based on a platform facilitating online meetings and Client-therapist relationships. It was founded by two psychologists and therapists – Katarzyna Podleska and Katarzyna Szałek-Zielińska.
ICTK enables clients to quickly establish relationships with educated specialists, trained and certified in the SFBT method.
Every therapist at ICTK works in the SFBT method, unique for its progressive attitude, effectiveness, focus on problem solving and orientation towards quick results. SFBT’s effectiveness is scientifically proven.
ICTK is the perfect solution for people who are looking to start therapy quickly and conveniently, permanently improving their mental wellbeing.
“We prioritize quick and easy access to our therapists. That’s why we decided to create a fully online therapy center, which provides therapeutic first aid (immediate psychological support), introductory sessions allowing our clients to assess their compatibility with a therapist (not only qualification but also personality), a quick questionnaire assisting clients in choosing a therapist appropriate for the problem they’re looking to solve, among other services. That’s just the beginning, we have plenty of innovative ideas waiting to be implemented. “ – says Katarzyna Podleska, ICTK President.
How is SFBT different than regular psychotherapy and why did ICTK choose this method specifically? ”SFBT is based on a few core principles, such as focusing on the future instead of the past or emphasizing small specific changes that the client can implement. The therapist asks questions, helping point to solutions instead of giving advice. Some of the techniques used in SFBT are talking about miracles, questions about exceptions as well as grading problems on a scale of 1 to 10. These methods are applicable to the current need of quick and actionable problem solving (based on the clients needs).” – comments Katarzyna Szałek-Zielińska
